Sermorelin, which is also known as GRF 1-29, is a Growth Hormone releasing Hormone (GHRH). The peptide was first invented in the 1970's and thought to be the shortest fully functional fragment of GHRH. This corresponds to the amino-terminal segment of the naturally occurring growth hormone-releasing hormone which consists of 44 amino acid residues.
Sermorelin is a sterile lyophilized powder which must be mixed with a bacteriostatic or sodium chloride solution before it is ready for research testing.
Vials should be stored refrigerated (36°-46°F).
