anti aging

The human growth hormone (HGH) has been described by a number of experts to slow the aging process. This hormone is produced by the pituitary gland and is responsible for childhood growth and maintaining tissues and organs through out the life of an individual.

Starting from middle age, there is a slowed production of Growth hormone from the pituitary and it is this reduction in the production that has drawn interests in the use of synthetic GH to reduce the reality of old age. The injection prescription of the hormone is available for individuals with real deficiency and not due to aging. In some cases other protocols are used such as igf 1 administration.

Many researches have been conducted to prove the role of the hormone in reducing the aging process. However, research was able to show that high levels of the hormone in mice to result in premature brain aging and reduced life spans. Some of the studies conducted showed oral administration of the hormone to be even lesser efficient in reducing the process since the hormone which is protein in nature is metabolized as it passes through the digestive system.

The deficiency is rare and may be caused by a number of factors such as pituitary adenoma or a treatment of such adenoma through radiotherapy or surgery. An injection of the hormone to those with a deficiency has a number of effects which may include:

  • An increased bone density,
  • Increased mass of muscles,
  • Decreased fat,
  • Increased capacity to exercise

According to, HGH was known to be a substance that works in slowing the aging process. The first study conducted was on a group of males. They were given HGH anti aging supplements and results showed a high increase in mass of the muscles. This fact was a breakthrough that showed increased HGH levels could reduce the process of aging.

Numerous studies followed confirming the supplements to slow down the aging process. The subjects demonstrated the ability to move more easily as well as exercise more than they could before participating in the study. The supplements also showed participants to experience clearer thinking, and feeling healthier.  In addition, there was a boost in energy which also contributed to better health.
